Learn To Row

This 6 week summer rowing camp is designed to teach beginners the sport of rowing.  They will be exposed to both sculling and sweeping.  The objective of the program is to learn overall sport skills and to build water sense and basic boat handling skills.  Participants will learn about the different boats, terms, movements and techniques.  This fun program is a great way to learn about the sport of rowing and meet new friends. For ages 12 to 16.

Youth Competitive

The competitive program is designed to refine and consolidate sculling skills, emphasising sculling in small boats, developing sport specific endurance, strength, speed and skills for 2000m racing in the summer and 5 kilometre head racing in the fall. It requires daily (6 days a week) on the water training and has frequent out of town travel. Regatta entry fees are included except Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, and the Head of the Charles. Out of town travel and hotel rooms are not included. For youths aged 14 to under 23.
